Marc and Linda were met at Tallahassee airport Saturday at 7 pm, "on time" by ETS, Eshelman Transportation Services, and whisked to the closest oyster bar.
Woke up Sunday morning and let Payton and Mya out to do their business and there in the drive way of our beach rental was Sue and Terry. They had just put in 18 + hours driving from Palatine IL. OMG! Those young kids! Try and keep up Matt, Sandy and Kristina.
Pic's and fishing stories to come in future posts.

"Boss Oysters" for lunch
This afternoon Wendy and I had lunch at Boss Oysters where Wendy ordered the grilled chicken breast with red beans. Go figure. I had a dozen raw on the half shell then had the local blue crab. Mighty fine fiddles if I say so my self! The follow video may, err, does sound really bad! You may want to turn down your computers sound to start with. The poor sound quality is due to the heavens opening up with large amounts of rain and Boss Oysters with a metal roof the results can be heard.

Proof of "Obama's rescission" washes up on shore.
I was told that the proof of how bad "Obama's recession" really is, is in the fact that even the sand dollars are getting smaller!

Oysters on the half shell.
Brother SJE is correct when noting that Oysters are meant to be eaten raw. I must admit my first Oyster was in New Orleans at Mardi Gras when I was 19. It was full of salt water and not very good. Seance then I have had them covered in a number of toppings and have enjoyed them. Yesterday Wendy and I had lunch a Caroline's in Apalachicola. Wendy ordered the Ruben sandwich and I started with a half dozen huge, raw, on the half shell. V
VERRY GOOD!
A little Tabasco and cocktail sauce and I did not realize what I had been missing all these years! Apalachicola Oysters have to be the prime rib of the oyster world.
Wendy was only happy because there was way less fat involved in the portions I was eating.
I did offer Wendy an Oyster. The expression on her face says it all!

Papa Joe's!
NOT!!
Don't let the picture fool you.
"I'ts a textural issue", Wendy says as she cringes and swears never, ever, to let an oyster touch her lips!
Kurt got a start on his oyster fix though!! OOOOH the OYSTERS!!! He has picked out the next 4-5 orders, yes that would be by the dozen and he can not wait until the next time they go to Papa Joe's!

Big Bird errr Snow Birds
On our travels the day before my 60th birthday there were several “Rest Area” stops so as to ease Wendy’s fears that the dogs would not explode we visited them with quite a frequency. During the first stop as I looked around I thought something was a bit out of place but was not able to figure it out. Then the second Rest Area came and I started to see some of the same cars/travelers. Then it dawned on me. There were no children to be seen or heard for as far as I could see. The average age of the couples, lots of couples, was 65-70 I would guess. This was a new experience for me that is being at a Rest Area and not seeing kids running around. I guess that Wendy are officially part of the flock considered Snow Birds. helllllp
