Blossoms for Bill

The first spring after planting the tree in memory of Bill Lull confirms that the selection of an Adam’s Crabapple was indeed a wise choice. As you can see it has a beautiful flower and foliage. Looking at this picture one might speculate, due to the slight lean, that we had thrown back a few two many before planting this tree. :-)That is not the case. I took the picture from this angle to show the contrast against the flowering Columbian ornamental Pear tree that grows next to the deck. Looking out the back of the house the tree stands straight… at least it looks straight to me after a couple of drinks.
