Moving day/week for Matt and Sandy……..

After countless visits (mostly Sandy while Matt traveled for work) through houses that were listed for sale, Matt and Sandy have landed a nice (nice is code, for it needs some work, but don’t they all…) brick three bed room ranch, located at 44 Woodland Ave, Elgin IL 60123. I have been working on windows at the new house that are in dire need of scraping, window glazing and paint. They have been working hard the last week moving/cleaning out the rental and into their new digs. The yard has three or four very large old Oak trees, a large wood deck in the spacious, fenced in back yard.

Knee update…. After five weeks of physical therapy, I have been unable to get more then 30-40% range of motion out of my knee after the partial knee replacement. My last visit with the doctor indicated that too much scar tissue has taken hold and that he needs to have me go back under general anesthesia to bend and force the knee to 100% motion. He said that this condition is seen more in total knee replacements but not unheard of in partial knee replacements. I’m scheduled for this out patient procedure on Tuesday the 4th at 1 pm. Speaking of patients, Zach is recovering (I’m doing OK after seeing the bill and getting oxygen) from surgery that removed two “suspicious” growths. One from under his chin and one from the right shoulder. He is doing OK. We should know more after pathology reports come back in a few days.

Cody, Tiff and Echo start school on Tuesday. I think I can safely say for them that the summer went by way to fast. We have trees on our block, soft Maples that are turning fall colors already. Kristina continues to drive school buss on a part time bases.
Wishing you all well…….
